Sydney is Two!

Sydney was born on January 29th, 2008. In that two years time one of Sydney's toddler obsessions has become Elmo! So it only made sense to have an Elmo Birthday party to feed the obsession!

The day actually started off with breakfast with Daddy before work! A plate full of strawberry french toast started the day perfectly!

Then we were headed off to lunch with Grandmas at Jason's Deli! Thanks Grandma...it was awesome!

I took on the task of theme decorations and cake! I think that these turned out pretty darn cute!

(This balloon arrived courtesy of lunch with Grandma!)

The night of Sydney's actual birthday we had a party with some of her nursery friends! Six toddlers in a 750 square foot condo has to equal a good time! Right? We had a cake, games, and really cool presents!

Saturday we celebrated with family from both sides at Grandma and Grandpa Aird's home in Cottonwood Heights! Funny story: We tried to put Sydney down for a nap before the party, but all we heard from the monitor for about an hour was the following - "I two!" - "Maggie!" - "Josh!" Needless to say, she had no nap - she was too excited!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYDNEY! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Camp Floyd Take Two

So we attempted a second visit to Camp Floyd with success! I think this our third or fourth state park! It was about an hour drive from Provo. We found it very interesting and the state park attendant was very animated and excited to have visitors!

Sydney Has An Announcement...

Yep! We are pregnant! Due August 4th and we are beyond excited!

Highlights from the Holidays

Here a just a few highlights from December...
Sydney's New Christmas Dress - Isn't she THE CUTEST thing there ever was?

Our first attempt at a family Christmas photo - it turned out okay!?

Sydney's First Sledding Experience - SHE LOVED IT!

And of course, Christmas...can you say spoiled beyond all reason? Sydney can!
I made the teepee, the Elmo blanket, and a quiet book. She also received an Elmo medicine kit from us!

We are still trying to hit our Utah State Parks, but this turned out to be a failed attempt to Camp Floyd...we missed it by 45 minutes - guess we will have to try again! Sydney did, however, enjoy the ride watching her Elmo DVD with her cool new headphones!
